Mark Stoermer Will Not Perform on the Asia Leg of The Killers ‘Battle Born’ World Tour

According to ‘Singapore GP’, Mark Stoermer will not be performing on The Killers Asia leg of the ‘Battle Born’ world tour due to personal reasons.  The link above indicates that Mark will return for future dates, presumably ‘Life is Beautiful’ and the Bridge School Benefit, both scheduled for October of this year.  You can view the information at the link above, below:

Due to personal reasons, The Killers’ bassist, Mark Stoermer, will not be performing on the Asian and UAE leg of the 2013 Battle Born tour. He will resume touring with the band later this year.

The Killers have not yet made an official comment or statement on the matter through their website or other social media outlets.

NOTE:

I initially had trouble accessing the link above due to server overload.  You may encounter the same issues when attempting to access the link above.

UPDATE:

It appears that a back injury has prevented Mark from joining The Killers during their Asia leg.  See this story on TKN for more information.
