MTV is asking fans to rank 20 preselected MTV EMA moments.
MTV has preselected The Killers at number 10 for their 2008 EMA performance of ‘Human’.
Victims will recall that it was during this performance that The Killers performed a portion of ‘Bring On the Dancing Horses’ by Echo & the Bunnymen.
The fans ranking of these MTV EMA moments will then air on November 6, 2014.

Universal Music Publishing Group UK is also streaming the instrumentals for Brandon Flowers debut solo album ‘Flamingo’.
You can preview the ‘Flamingo’ instrumentals here.
Regular readers may recall that Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) Germany streamed thirty second instrumental previews of many ‘Battle Born’ tracks back in May of this year.
A TKN reader emailed me this morning with a link to ‘Direct Hits' on UMPG UK's site where many instrumentals off 'Direct Hits' are currently streaming. Of note, the instrumental for 'Shot at the Night' can currently be previewed.
I then performed a general search of UMPG UK’s site and noted that many other instrumentals and other versions of songs are currently available for streaming. I have included some highlights below but would encourage anyone interested to view the entire Killers catalog on UMPG UK site.
Of note, many instrumentals from ‘Hot Fuss’, ‘Sam’s Town’, ‘Day & Age’, and ‘Battle Born’ are available and are linked to below.
‘Day & Age' ('A Crippling Blow', 'Tidal Wave', and 'Forget About What I Said' instrumentals also playable)
What would appear to be different versions of ‘Under the Gun’ and ‘The Ballad of Michael Valentine’ are also available for preview.
Brandon Flowers co-wrote the new Avicii single ‘The Days’.
You can listen and view the lyrics to ‘The Days' here.
The Killers have been nominated for ‘Best World Stage’ in the 2014 MTV EMAs.

A video of Brandon Flowers performing ‘Got My Mind Set on You’, popularly covered by George Harrison and originally recorded by James Ray, at George Fest 2014 last night has been uploaded on YouTube.
It appears that Kenny Aronoff is playing drums on some portion of Brandon’s second solo album.
Given that Brandon will definitely be in Los Angeles, CA for GeorgeFest 2014 this Sunday, it’s possible that Brandon has been working with Aronoff in his Uncommon Studios in LA for the past week.
Aronoff posted the following photo and text on Instagram on September 20, 2014:
